Half Term is finally upon us. I think we all feel like it’s been an eternity since Christmas and this lockdown has been much harder than any other we have faced. Please use next week to give yourselves and your children a well-earned break. Having to adapt to learning in this new way we have had thrust upon us has been challenging for everybody. Many of us at school are parents and understand the pressures of trying to work, home-school and generally keep yourself and your family going. You have done brilliantly, and we have loved still being able to see children’s faces alongside their work on Dojo.
Thank you to those who completed our survey about the ‘Remote Learning’. We will use this feedback to look at how we can address issues raised and improve what we offer our children.
I would like to publicly thank all the staff at school for their huge commitment to Ryecroft. They have supported the children and each other wonderfully over the last half term, going above and beyond to ensure we could offer places for our growing number of children in school and provide live lessons and learning for those at home. They are a fabulous team and we hope that all the children in our Ryecroft family will be back in school shortly.
Please remember that there will be no Critical Worker/Vulnerable Children bubbles running in school or live lessons/planned learning from Monday 15th to Friday 19th February. Resources for the week beginning Monday 22nd February will be available again on the Monday after the holidays.
If you need any help or support from our school team over the half term, please email us at email@example.com
Have a wonderful half term break and we look forward to seeing you again either online or in a Year Group bubble on Monday 22nd February.
