School Update - 15th January 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

A huge thank you and well done to all our families today. With the second week of home schooling completed and a snow closure, we know how disrupted things are compared to our normal routine. We have been really pleased to see so many of our children joining our Zoom learning. If possible, try to join your lesson a few minutes before which gives the teacher chance to let you in to the meeting. If you have problems joining or need advice on Dojo profiles contact us at school by phone or email at

Learning packs are available from school on a Monday 8am-4pm and a Friday 1-4pm alongside a small selection of reading books. They are under our mini marque outside and, as they are named, can just be picked up and taken. If you have asked before you will remain on the list until we return to school. If it would help to provide some other resources such as plain paper or pencils please let us know and we will do our best to help.

If your circumstances have changed and you feel that you might be entitled to Benefits related Free School Meals, please use this link to complete the simple form via the council website.

This week has seen our first ‘Zoom’ dance lesson with Miss Frost. Miss Frost is a professional dancer and teacher who works with many local dance schools and we have really enjoyed our lessons today. Please try to join us next week. Siblings and parents are welcome too! This new learning will go alongside our ‘Virtual Golden Time’ which gives children a chance to chat with their friends and enjoy a bit of social time.

Please keep safe in the cold weather and we look forward to next week’s learning

Have a wonderful weekend.
