School Update - 23rd April 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

It has been great to hear that so many of you are joining the ‘Beat the Street’ challenge and to see children using scooter and bikes to travel to school also. We know how busy our narrow streets are around school. Keeping children safe is always our highest concern so please make sure all children, however you are travelling here, are close to you and away from the roads before or after school.

We continue to enjoy ‘online’ dance lessons for the time being and we now have webcams to increase the interaction between the teacher and the class. The good weather has helped lots more outside learning take place and we have all liked the sunshine at playtimes.

Sadly, we still know that Covid is a feature of our lives and we are working hard to keep our Ryecroft family safe. Please support our efforts by wearing a face covering and practising social distancing at collection and drop off times. We really appreciate these small gestures.

A reminder that Thursday 6th May is an INSET day with the school closed to children. This is due to our premises being a polling station.

Have a fabulous weekend and we will see you all on Monday

Mrs Blythe
